Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. It does this by optimizing the movement of cerebrospinal fluid through the spine and around the skull.
Hydrotherapy: involves the use of water for pain relief and treatment. Cold the use of ice at pain site. Hot therapy with the use of heated stone at pain site, also the combination of the two treatments in contrasting form, combination of hot and cold for treatment.
Reflexology is a type of bodywork that focuses on applying pressure to the specific nerve zones in your feet. Lymphatic Drainage Therapy/Manual Lymphatic Drainage: aims to gently and rhythmically move the lymph through the body, intended to encourage the natural drainage of the lymph, which carries waste products away from the tissues back toward the heart, especially swollen areas of the body, relieving pressure and enhancing the functioning of the immune system. As both a preventative and remedial technique,can be used for a wide range of purposes including faster recovery from injury, reduction of swelling and discomfort from pregnancy, and strengthened resistance to illness.
Shiatsu is a Japanese form of massage therapy. Finger pressure used in direct stimulation of pressure points along the energy pathways of your body, gentle stretching techniques are applied over a wider area of the body to integrate the point work and encourage the flow of Chi throughout the body. Shiatsu is a meditative healing art that honors the body, mind and spirit.
